     1st Wednesday & 3rd Sunday normally.
    Wednesdays: 7 pm.  |   Sundays: Meditation 1 pm, study group 1:30 pm, Talk 2:30 pm.

  • The Toowoomba Group also holds meetings at Warwick
    at the Warwick Library, 49 Albion Street.

Sun  21st  Dr DARA TATRAY - The Interaction of Psyche & Matter

This talk explores basic elements of Hermetic philosophy and depth psychology to show some of the remarkable ways in which psyche and matter interact. Dara Tatray is the current President of The Theosophical Society in Australia, and a member of the Society since 1979. She holds a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science (UNSW 2006) and has had over thirty articles published in theosophical journals on a wide range of subjects including Hermeticism, key elements of Buddhism and Vedānta, the nature of enquiry, and the scientific basis of universal brotherhood. Dara also has three peer-reviewed academic publications to her credit.

THURS  18th  TERRY TILLEY The Reassurances of Tibetan Buddhism  Warwick local, Terry, is fresh back from stay at the Tashi Lhunpo monastery in Southern India which left him feeling with a deeper sense of belonging. Tashi Lhunpo was established in the sixteenth century as the seat of the Panchen Lama,the secondmost senior Tibetan Lama.

Sun  18th   JUDITH JEFFREYS  Mandalas as images of Self-Discovery and Spiritual Wholeness.   Mandalas were defined by the Swiss psychologist Jung as  circles containing universal design motifs  — across cultures —and across time.  They represent a state of beauty and order and often appear when all seems chaotic.

THURS 15th  SUZANNE MORTON  Hinhan Galeskhka (Spotted Owl)  Native American Wisdom Spotted Owl is a Chiricahua Tineh (Apache), and Oglalla Lakota (Sioux).  She will speak about animal helpers, (physical and spirit) totems and medicine animals, their feeding and care, signs and warnings, etc.   She will touch on the return of the white buffalo, and other prophecies (including a Tibetan Buddhist prophecy connection),  some info on the old connections we have to the Aboriginal people here, and Mt Warning.

THURS  20th   DIDI ANANDA SHAMITA' The Potential of the Mind. The secrets and various levels of the mind and then going beyond the mind.

Didi has been a yogic nun for 25 years, teaching meditation and yoga and coordinating social service activities. Currently based at the Ananda Marga Meditation centre in Brisbane, Didi is originally from South Africa and has worked in North and Central America; the Caribbean; India; Germany; South Africa; Papua New Guinea and Australasia.

Wed  2nd  BARBARA ATKINSON The Planets and Human Auras Learn how the colours of the human aura change as the baser elements of our physical natures are transmuted into the highest ideal expressions - desires and thoughts  transmuted into living spiritual ideals. The philosophy of the great Egyptian sage Hermes Trismegistus, inspired the greatest minds in Western history and his teachings are still relevant to our lives today.

Sun  20th  PHOEBE WILLIAMS Thought and Transformation This talk looks at the spiritual capacity of each human to heal our world of existence.
Phoebe has a Homeopathic clinic, is a practicing artist  and teaches people to discover their own creativity through classes and workshops. She has been involved with the administration and programme of the Brisbane TS for 25 yrs.
