AUGUST Sun 21st Dr DARA TATRAY - The Interaction of Psyche & Matter This talk explores basic elements of Hermetic philosophy and depth psychology to show some of the remarkable ways in which psyche and matter interact. Dara Tatray is the current President of The Theosophical Society in Australia, and a member of the Society since 1979. She holds a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science (UNSW 2006) and has had over thirty articles published in theosophical journals on a wide range of subjects including Hermeticism, key elements of Buddhism and Vedānta, the nature of enquiry, and the scientific basis of universal brotherhood. AUGUST THURS 18th TERRY TILLEY The Reassurances of Tibetan Buddhism Warwick local, Terry, is fresh back from stay at the Tashi Lhunpo monastery in Southern India which left him feeling with a deeper sense of belonging. Tashi Lhunpo was established in the sixteenth century as the seat of the Panchen Lama,the secondmost senior Tibetan Lama.

She will speak about animal helpers, (physical and spirit) totems and medicine animals, their feeding and care, signs and warnings, etc. She will touch on the return of the white buffalo, and other prophecies (including a Tibetan Buddhist prophecy connection), some info on the old connections we have to the Aboriginal people here, and Mt Warning.

Currently based at the Ananda Marga Meditation centre in Brisbane, Didi is originally from South Africa and has worked in North and Central America; the Caribbean; India; Germany; South Africa; Papua New Guinea and Australasia. |
